Saturday I made an overdue trip to Hobby Lobby and snagged some new ornaments and decor including a new 7.5 Christmas tree because ours was missing a ton of lights this year (RIP buddy - 17 years old!) We're not using our 9 foot tree this year so we decided to get another 7 footer. I'm thinking that bad boy will go up tonight while listening to some old Christmas music - cannot wait. I also ordered new stockings and a new tree skirt from this new company I found called Merry Stockings. Y'all, I ordered 4 personalized stockings and a personalized tree skirt and it shipped the SAME day! I'm super impressed thus far and hope that when they arrive today I love them. (Went with ivory quilted and green monogram) of course I ADORE my old stockings but wanted a slightly different theme this year with lots of whites, blues and green instead of my usual burgundy.
Saturday evening we had our high school's annual auction and night out and it was so much fun! The theme was lights, camera, auction and everyone looked so fabulous. Can we talk about being 30 years old and drinking too much liquor? I knew I should've stayed with my usual wine - what was I thinking?! I was out of commission pretty much all day Sunday and then hung out with my Mama for The Walking Dead and slowly recovered. Whew y'all, old age is no joke. Anyway, I hope y'all had a fabulous weekend! Linking up with Biana today for weekending!

Ugh sorry about your couch debacle - seriously I feel like they are always so difficult with couches! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving girl! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your couch, I would have cried too! But can we talk about how fabulous you look in that leopard dress! Happy Thanksgiving week <3

Oh no! So sorry about that couch fiasco, that stinks! You looked so pretty for your night out and man I hear you, the older you get the the worse the hangover gets with liquor. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHere in Texas EVERYTHING is behind on delivery...my mom's fridge went out and it's taking over a month for the new one because of all the hurricane stuff. That dress looks precious on you...and yes...that hangovers hurt more than they use to for sure as you get older!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! That sucks so bad about the couch. Seriously, furniture delivery is the worst - especially around the holidays! I hope it's delivered soon! Happy Thanksgiving week!
ReplyDeleteThat's horrible they brought the wrong pieces and then now won't get you your couch until Jan!!! I'd definitely cry! LOVE those stockings and tree skirt - same day shipping is service right there! lol Hope you have a great Thanksgiving week!
ReplyDeleteI can’t helieve that about your sofa! So frustrating! And I’m with you...you’d figure I would learn by now to take it slow with drinking at events like that but I always have one glass too many and am out of commission. Whoops! I’m not as young as I once was — or think I still am — ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat an ordeal about the couch! January is so far! (But then again, I also can't believe Thanksgiving is THIS week!) I'm hoping to do some Christmas decorating this week, too!
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating about your sofa. Hate that happened!!!! Love the stocking and tree skirt, so pretty and classy!
ReplyDeleteYou look soo pretty! Love your dress!
